Fundraising Tips

Headway UK and Headway Cardiff & South East Wales

Across the UK there are 125 Headway groups and branches who all work to improve life after brain injury. Although Headway Cardiff & South East Wales shares the Headway logo and works in partnership with Headway UK we are are a separate charity.

This means that we are run independently and do not receive any financial support from the national charity Headway UK.

If you are setting up an online fundraising page, and would like your fundraising to help people in South East Wales please make sure that you select Headway Cardiff & South East Wales as your chosen charity as opposed to Headway UK.

“In Aid of” & “On Behalf of”

A little bit of legal jargon!
If you are planning a fundraising event and you are making publicity material, please refer to your event as in aid of Headway Cardiff & South East Wales. This means that your event is in support of the charity but is organised independently from it. When Headway Cardiff & South East Wales organise an event, we will promote it as on behalf of Headway Cardiff & South East Wales.
